It’s Good for Revolution

There is a war going on.  A brazen, full frontal, take no prisoners, all out assault against the enemy.  Unlike other illegal wars the United States has perpetrated, this one is fully sanctioned by a majority of the Congress.  This is a war against the U.S. constitution, democracy, and the middle class.  “We the People” are the enemy.
– L. Morales
The Republican party has had the same pro-corporate agenda for a very long time.  Having no interest in helping this country or its people prosper, they are dependent upon corporate monies for their re-election bids.  With the Supreme Court’s help, corporations are now able to donate unlimited funds to elect politicians of their choosing, who in turn pass policies favorable to corporations.  A major player in this game is Koch Industries, the second largest privately owned company in the country. The brothers (Chuck and Dave), operate oil refineries in Texas, Minnesota, and Alaska, own Brawny paper towels, Dixie cups, Stainmaster carpet, Georgia-Pacific lumber, Lycra and other products.  With control of the House and many state governments, they have become emboldened and have put their corporate/republican agenda on the fast track.   This Corpublican agenda includes: union busting (to lower wages), privatization of social security (to steal its funds), lowering taxes for the wealthy (to deplete revenue), drastically cut spending for social programs (to transfer funds to the wealthy).
Per Wikipedia: (they) “have funded conservative and libertarian policy and advocacy groups in the United States.[6] Since the 1980s the Koch foundations have given more than $100 million to such organizations, among thesethink tanks like the Heritage Foundation and the Cato Institute, as well as more recently Americans for Prosperity.[7] Americans for Prosperity and FreedomWorks are Koch-linked organizations that have been involved in the Tea Party movement“. $100 million.  For a corporation that makes hundreds of billions of dollars each year, shouldn’t it cost them more?  Shouldn’t it cost more to buy the United States of America?
For those who claim to love the United States as you work to usurp the Constitution, remember, the Constitution is the United States.  It is what makes us unique.  It is what makes us powerful.  It is what makes us free.  Why do the Koch brothers and Republicans hate the Constitution, and in turn, the United States of America and it’s citizens?  Why are they trying to destroy the vision of the founding fathers?  Why do they not care for the tired, the poor, the huddled masses…?
“Let us then turn this government back into the channel in which the framers of the Constitution originally placed it”. – Abraham Lincoln
